On Thursday 23 February a group of 45 P1 and P2 pupils and their teachers marched along to the Heritage Centre from their school. They listened intently to Stout Duncan's tales of King Robert the Bruce and were very enthusiastic in their questioning. The pupils also loved being able to see and touch the collection of armour and were allowed to try on crowns and tiaras.
Frank, Arthur and Elspeth were on hand in medieval garb to help Duncan entertain the visitors who were all very polite and well-behaved; a credit to their families, school and community.
A happy afternoon for all concerned.
