| The Robert the Bruce Heritage centre had a visitor today (Thursday 26th August 2010) A man by the name of "Robert E Bruce Jnr" who hail's from Denver Colorado USA. Robert along with his wife are staying in a B&B on Loch Lomond side was told by the owner of the B&B that he may want to pay a visit to our Heritage centre in Renton which we are delighted to say he did. Robert spent over an hour or so talking and taking notes and on the history of our King Robert and learning a little bit of his family history and the Bruce family line, he was amazed at what he saw and learned in the short time he spent talking to our members, Chris. Elspeth, Tommy, Jim and Duncan. Robert jnr is touring Scotland with his wife, they are heading for the Cowal games this week end, then up to Syke enroute to Loch Ness and Braemar for the Highland Gathering. It was great to receive a visit from the name sake of our Hero King a big Thank you to the owner of the said B&B for poiinting Robert Jnr in our direction and to you Sir for gracing us with your presence it was a pleasure to have you here...................Haste Ye Back......!!!
