On a recent visit to Jenners store at Lomond Shores, Strathleven Artizans Elspeth and Tommy Crocket met the internationally acclaimed Orkney-based jewellery designer and manufacturer, Sheila Fleet. Jenners and Frasers stores in different parts of the country highlight Sheila’s goods and she was spending a few days meeting customers old and new, and looking for inspiration.

Elspeth, and Tommy (to a much lesser extent…….) were on the lookout for an item of jewellery to commemorate an important anniversary and in the course of the discussion other important anniversaries came up. Not surprisingly the 700th anniversary of Bannockburn led on to a chat about the Robert the Bruce Heritage Centre.
