Visit by Drymen and District Local History Society
Artizans were delighted welcome fifteen visitors from Drymen on June 13th. They enjoyed a look round the exhibits before a talk by Duncan, Jeanette, Elspeth, Iain and Frank. Like most of our local visitors, our friends from Drymen were surprised at the amount of information available on life at the Bruce Court at Pillansflatt . They learned too about Sir James Douglas's journey to Teba, his death in battle, and the Douglas festival which takes place there every year.
